About the Role
Jos Family Law is seeking a California-licensed Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. The attorney will manage a caseload involving divorce, child custody, support, property division, and related family law matters while working directly with clients throughout their cases. This is an opportunity to practice at a growing firm with an experienced legal team and operational support designed to help attorneys focus on practicing law and achieving strong outcomes for clients.
What You'll Do
- Manage an active caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal and child support, and property division
- Meet the firm's minimum 70% billable utilization expectation
- Represent clients in court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Advise clients clearly and compassionately throughout each stage of their case
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to keep matters moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate case records in MyCase, our practice management system
What We're Looking For
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- Experience in family law preferred
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
- Sound judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working well within a team
- Genuine care for clients navigating difficult circumstances

- Salary range: $100,000 to $250,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
Jos Family Law is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to support our attorneys and clients across an active family law caseload. The paralegal will help keep cases organized, deadlines on track, and clients informed throughout the legal process.
What You'll Do
- Draft, format, and file pleadings, discovery, disclosures, and other legal documents
- Maintain organized and accurate case files in MyCase
- Meet the firm's minimum 70% billable utilization expectation
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding case status, scheduling, and document requests
- Calendar and monitor court dates, filing deadlines, and case-related tasks
- Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, experts, and outside vendors
- Assist attorneys with preparation for hearings, mediations, and trials
- Maintain firm standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and client service
What We're Looking For
- Prior family law paralegal experience preferred
- Familiarity with California family law procedures and court filing requirements
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Experience with MyCase or a similar practice-management system
